I was going to write a whole lot more but, alas, my muddled mind from last night does not know how to organize or even comment about it really; not that there were negative things entailed with the events--rather, some good things came out of it--so rather than continue being vague I'll save it for another entry here in the future perhaps.

Speaking of vague, I had an odd dream where I spent time hanging around a sort of communal-type house: people would come and go, adults and kids, in the two-story structure we were in that was a hub of activity and seemed to have a lot of positive energy. In some ways, it reminded me of the house in Frank Capra's You Can't Take It with You (1938).

The main thing with this entry though is a meme borrowed from [livejournal.com profile] trouble_brewing and [livejournal.com profile] max_ambiguity where you ask me in a comment for five interview questions about you whose responses can either be here or in your journal, whatever is easiest.

1. What kind of writing do you do?

Creatively, I write poems and short stories, and as far as larger works, I'm almost completed my second novel. (I have also written four feature length scripts none of which were sold or sellable--bad writing when I was younger.) I also would like to get more academic article published and am working on three ideas for research right now.

2. What is your biggest regret?

My biggest regret is not asking for help when I was younger when I really needed it, esp during high school after the car accident I was in with some others.

3. Are you superstitious about anything?

I'm not superstitious about anything but I am a big believer in the cyclical or kharmic aspects of life that I've found to be true and to be wary of time and time again.

4. I'm not entirely clear if teaching is your current day job, your life's passion, or something you used to do. What is teaching to you? And what would your ideal job be?

Teaching is not my main job but I do like it a lot. I am a librarian by main profession to which I hope to add eventually published author. I think an ideal job is difficult to identify but I would say that the best kind of job environment is one where people work together well and support is there to get what you need.

5. Describe in single words only the good things that come into your mind about... your mother.

Loving. Caring.
