She has been the closest I have felt to identifying with as a politician. I am a registered Republican, but I more identify with being a conservative. But I have liberal opinions as well. So it is never an easy task to find someone that is all of those things or at least most of those things and Gillibrand seems to be my type with some of her middle of the road views. It's nice for a change.
