The Sex and the City Movie is the ONLY summer I even care about. I'm happily going to skip the rest of those.

Aw come on, Adora, not one other? :)

The rest are clearly not my taste, being action movies. I like romance, drama and romantic comedy the best, not so much testosterone fueled, special effects abusing sequels of movies I didn't even like very much the first time around.
It's not that I don't go outside of my comfort zone, because there are a few WELL MADE action movies that I do enjoy. I'm just very, very picky than just because something happens to be a BlockBuster doesn't mean I'm necessarily going to want to see it.

I have strong opinions on this, obviously. lol

Yeah, I see what you mean, Adora. :) Especially when it's becoming a much more expensive and less enjoyable experience now watching movies in the theatre. You should be picky about what monies you spend on your movies, IMHO. ;)

Absolutely! And that's why I download all of mine off the Internet instead of bothering with the theatre. :D

With the Bush Legacy, remember that text books are written by conservative companies that distort the past. Hell, we even bring up Clinton's affair still, not the economic prosperity and peace of the time.

I don't trust any current biographer of a recent president: all the real dirt will come years from now.

Somehow, Nixon died a saint.

Hmm.. maybe i use hyperbole, but still. It depends on who writes history.

The only one I'll see is the X-Files. Maybe Batman, since my roommate can get tix to the IMAX.

Don't know about twice.

X-Files I might definitely see twice since I've seen the whole series now besides the other film.

Not going to commit to twice until I see it once. ;)

Most movies aren't worth shelling out the $10 to see ONCE (in the theatre, anyway), let alone twice.

I usually wait for DVD, though Prof and I have plans to see Indiana Jones and Get Smart.

'tis true, JOC. It is becoming more and more better to experience films at home vs. the theatre.
